Welcome to Marconi Travel, we are an independent locally owned and operated travel agency located in Sydney’s Southwest region. We were established on 14 February 1974 and have been organising travel for the local community, corporates and international since our commencement.
We are a proud member of AFTA and are a fully accredited ATAS Member, Marconi Travel is a member of Alatus a division of Express Travel Group, independent travel agents’ sector which allows us buying power through and gives us the flexibility to support other major buying groups to ensure that we give our clients the best value for money from all of our suppliers.
Apart from specialising in Italy and European travel we also specialise in soccer (football) group tours, multi-stop itineraries and round the world journeys. We book diverse travel arrangements such as domestic coaches such as Premier Motor Coach, Firefly and Greyhound. International coaches and rail sectors, Car Hire both within Australia and Internationally, Hotel Accommodation, Ocean and River Cruising, as well as with coach touring whether it be an escorted regional trip or just a day trip.
We give our clients the traditional services of using a travel agent. We enjoy building a rapport with our clients over a tea or coffee to ensure we give you the travel experience your looking for, whether that be for corporate travel or leisure travel, planning a honeymoon or even planning your overseas wedding.

Getting to know Francesca
Francesca is the daughter of Mick the original proprietor of Marconi Travel and commenced working in the family business at the age of 15.
Her recent accolades are in 2017 she was handpicked for an 18 month term as a member of the independent advisory panel for Helloworld wholesale. From 2018-2022 she was elected as a councillor for My Travel Group network. In 2021 Francesca also completed her IATA Diploma in Travel & Tourism.
Although she has travelled to various cities across Europe, Asia, North & South America, she still has a lot to complete her bucket list, such as Canada, Mexico and an African Safari.
